SEO

Everybody's doing it! Right? Well, not exactly. Search Engine Optimization is quite the buzz word and carries many misconceptions with it. In this post we will cover the cost misconception.

Everyone thinks that SEO has to cost money. It does not. It will if you are not interested in doing the work yourself, but if you are not afraid to dive in and spend some time learning you can actually do your own site optimization. We'll cover the ways to "do it yourself" next time. For now it is important tho know that you can do a lot to improve your sites ranking by taking the time to learn how.

Another misconception is that SEO is very expensive. While some companies charge a lot of money to optimize your site they often make promises that are not truthful. Some promise front page rankings. The question to ask is under what search term and in what time frame. Many times you will come up on the first page but only under a very uncommon query. For example, if you have a florist business and you want to be listed when someone searches for roses, some companies will get you a front page listing but under a keyword of Hybrid Tea Rose. Well that's no good. You just lost a lot of money to be ranked for something you don't even sell.

Also make sure you get a money back guarantee so that you have a way out. Research is the key when choosing a company to help with SEO.

We offer free web site evaluation to determine if you are a candidate for SEO and offer a quote for SEO service at no charge. Just remember if you choose to have someone do the work for you, it pays to know as much as possible about the subject and the company you will hire.
